Electrify America opened its first indoor fast-charging hub located in San Francisco. The site hosts 20 x 350 kW CCS charge points, a lounge equipped with vending machines, WiFi, and toilets.

  • Stellantis adopts NACS 🔌: French-Italian-American automotive conglomerate Stellantis (Peugeot/FIAT/Chryler/Dodge/Jeep etc..) has officially announced that it will adopt SAE J3400 (aka Tesla’s NACS connector proposal) in North America. Well, friends - first you need to release an electric vehicle for sale in North America. • Octopus first V2G tariff in the UK 🇬🇧 🔄: The Octopus Power Pack (Beta) tariff offers an innovative opportunity for customers who own a Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) compatible electric vehicle (EV). By participating in this program, customers are eligible for complimentary home charging. The only requirement is that the EV must be plugged in for approximately 6 hours daily, which totals around 170 hours per month, so that Octopus can optimize (dis-)charging when its best for the grid. Compatible vehicles are limited to ChaDeMo vehicles like Nissan Leaf at the moment. The only eligible charger is the Wallbox Qasar 2 with ChaDeMo V2G function.

  • Renault’s AC V2G charging station production started ⚡️: The Mobilize PowerBox will be available in four variants to meet different needs (UNO - home charging; UNO Plus - apartment building; UNO Pro w. MID meter - reimbursement & billing; VERSO - bidirectional charging). The initial production capacity is 65k units per year. The VERSO variant can be paired with Renault’s upcoming R5 EV and it’s bi-directional on-Board charger (we reported). Various partner companies were involved in the development, including IoTecha for the ISO15118 and OCPP stack.
