#1 🚚 Tesla and Pilot J truckstops are rolling out a 1.2MW Megacharger network for the Tesla Semi across the US:
Pilot Travel Centers and Tesla have partnered to launch a nationwide network of heavy-duty "Megachargers" specifically for electric trucks. The initiative will begin with construction in the first half of 2026, focusing on approximately 20 selected locations across California, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. Each site will feature four to eight stalls utilizing Tesla’s V4 technology, which delivers a massive 1.2 megawatts of power per stall. These high-speed chargers are designed to recover 500 miles of range in just 30 minutes, allowing drivers to recharge during their mandated break periods. While the network will initially serve the Tesla Semi, the companies plan to potentially expand compatibility to other heavy-duty electric vehicle manufacturers in the future.
#2 Volvo’s new EX60 checks a lot of boxes✅:
More details came out now on the EX60, Volvo’s upcoming Midsize SUV crossover that will directly compete with the likes of Tesla Model Y, BMW iX3, Mercedes GLC EV, Rivian R2, and the soon-to-be-unveiled Lucid Midsize vehicle.
On paper, the vehicle checks a lot of boxes!
• Multiple drivetrains (P6, P10, P12) with up to 112kWh usable energy
• 370kW+ Peak charging rate - for P10/P12 Variants, 320kW peak for P6 variant
• P10 ~15min 10-80% charge time
• 120kW boosting for 400V chargers
• up to 400mi of EPA-rated range
• ~$60k for "well-equipped" P10 AWD (91kWh usable / 300+ mi EPA)
• 80A/19.2kW standard OBC for all variants
Things are getting interesting in the Midsize SUV segment!
#3 The Mobility House launches V2G aggregation platform 🔌:

The Mobility House North America has built a new EV aggregation platform called “Cascade” to address EV load challenges and grid constraints alongside electric utility partners in the United States and Canada. Fleet customers and utilities can now benefit from the charging flexibility offered by the Cascade platform. While a charge station management system (CSMS) such as The Mobility House’s ChargePilot manages mostly site-level charging optimization for a fleet/depot operator, Cascade can work with each CSMS at thousands of sites to create flexibility for the affected distribution grids.
The Cascade EV Aggregator allows electric vehicles to serve as energy storage assets and provide energy services such as demand response, dynamic rate optimization, and grid constraint management. The platform can manage both unidirectional smart charging to incentivize load shifting (V1G) and bidirectional vehicle-to-grid (V2G) chargers exporting power from EV batteries to the grid. Cascade receives real-time signals from utilities or market programs and engages EV fleet charge management systems and residential chargers across a service area. Cascade creates individualized charging plans that are optimized to the signal and to vehicle mobility needs, then aggregates the response to provide essential grid services, including load reduction and export.
