Good Morning! Welcome to Electric Avenue, your weekly EV newsletter. We scroll the web so you don’t have to. Let’s dive in!

#1 IONNA expands Coast-to-Coast:
IONNA and Mercedes-Benz HPC have been expanding rapidly across the USA. Soon you will be able to travel Coast-to-Coast exclusively on their Alpitronic 400kW chargers, assuming your vehicle has at least ~300 miles of real-world highway range. Who’s got a trip planned already?
#2 IONITY’s new feature shows you how full other cars are🔋:
Ever been on the way to a full charging site and wondering how soon people will unplug? You might remember awkwardly walking from stall to stall, glancing at charger screens to see how far along folks are - all while looking very suspicious. Well, now you can check from the comfort of your own car by using the IONITY app. More of this feature across networks please. Plugshare, Chargemap, Google Maps, Apple Maps - add this to your data set too please.
#3 Francis Energy next 3rd party CPO to operate Tesla Superchargers 🔌:
Francis Energy has a local stronghold in the Oklahoma area and nearby states. Local EV drivers will be excited to see them roll out these units.
#4 Automaker-backed CPOs are becoming dominant in North America:
As our friends at Chargeonomics are cleverly pointing out, Automaker-backed charging networks are now deploying and operating the majority of DCFC chargeports in the US. These numbers would look even more extreme if you focused on DCFC Ports, where the charging network acts as the owner/operator and owns the physical assets itself (excluding companies like Chargepoint that mainly sell chargers and operate asset-light).
#5 Most-clicked link last post: was our article on ⚡Chinese cars, Mexican roads and American brands 🇺🇸
